1991 Lancia Delta 1300 GT Martini

The legendary first generation, Giorgetto Giugiaro designed Lancia Delta. First launched to a warm reception in 1979, the Delta was awarded the title of European Car of the Year in 1980 and went through a number of revisions throughout the years to perfect the popular hatch. In 1991, the final revision was launched becoming the ultimate first generation Lancia Delta.

This particular example, being a 1991 is one of those later and perfected first generation vehicles. Enthusiast owned from new, it had never left a small town outside of Antwerp, Belgium until it was acquired by us here at Maple House Classic Cars. This explains the exceptionally low mileage (31,900 Miles) and condition of the vehicle. Having just been brought to the UK, all taxes have been paid and it's now ready for it's new home, some light recommissioning and UK registration.

Exterior

The Allumino metallic exterior is in excellent condition throughout with no real damage to note. The previous owner was a high end detailer and this really shows on the vehicle and condition of the paintwork. The car is fitted with what is believed are factory ‘Martini’ stripes, as part of a limited edition offered in Belgium to match the exceptionally rare ‘Martini’ steering wheel. The stripes are also in good condition, complimenting well the silver exterior.

There are 4 spots of corrosion to note - Drivers sill, rear under the top of the tailgate, one spot along the windscreen and bubbling on one spot of the rear window. With the exception of the drivers sill which may require a small repair, these are all still solid and just surface.

Interior

On the inside, a blue cloth interior is also very clean, with only a tear on the drivers side bolster, and everything seems to operate as expected. The extremely rare OEM factory Martini steering wheel looks fantastic, and you would be hard placed to find another! Plastics etc are all present and in good condition with the correct shine.

Mechanical

Mechanically, the car starts, stops and drives really well, exactly as expected for a car of such low mileage. The vehicle has clearly been regularly maintained, and tyres etc have plenty of life. Belgian MOT history confirms the low mileage of the vehicle.
